Qatar backs mediation to resolve U.S.-Iran sanctions dispute
Investing.com -- A Qatari foreign ministry spokesperson said Tuesday that Qatar supports mediation efforts aimed at resolving tensions between the United States and Iran over sanctions.
The spokesperson characterized American sanctions imposed on Iran as unilateral measures. Qatar expressed its backing for diplomatic initiatives designed to address the dispute between Washington and Tehran.
