Imperial Oil (IMO) Tops Q3 EPS by 16c, Revenues Miss
November 1, 2019 7:58 AM EDTImperial Oil (NYSE: IMO) reported Q3 EPS of $0.56, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.74 billion versus the consensus estimate of $9.24 billion.
Third quarter highlights
Net income of $424 million or $0.56 per share on a diluted basis, compared to net income of $749 million or $0.94 per share in the third quarter of 2018.Cash generated from operating activities was $1,376 million, up from $1,207 million in the third quarter of 2018.Capital and exploration expenditures totalled $442 million, compared with $376 million in the third quarter of 2018.
