Celldex CFO Sam Martin to retire in 2027 after nearly two decades

Celldex Therapeutics (NASDAQ: CLDX) announced that Sam Martin, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, plans to retire in 2027. Martin has held the CFO role since 2017 and has been a member of the Celldex finance team since April 2009.
Martin will remain in his position through March 2027 to support a transition period. The company said it has initiated a search for a new CFO.
"We are grateful to Sam for his strong contributions over many years of service to Celldex and wish him the very best in his retirement," said Anthony Marucci, Co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Celldex.
Martin said he is "proud" of what the company has accomplished and noted that Celldex has data readouts from two Phase 3 barzolvolimab trials expected later this year.
