Venezuela August inflation slows to 8.9%, central bank says

Sept ‌4 (Reuters) - ​Venezuela's ​inflation ‌slowed to ⁠8.9% ‌in August, central ‌bank data ​showed ⁠on Friday, down ​from 19.9% the previous ​month.

Year-on-year ‌inflation stood ⁠at ⁠534.21%, according ​to Reuters calculations based ‌on ‌the ⁠bank's ‌figures.
