US collected $166 billion under IEEPA duties, customs agency says

WASHINGTON, March ‌6 (Reuters) - ​The ​U.S. Customs and Border Protection ‌agency said on Friday ⁠it collected about $166 billion ‌in duties and ‌deposits under the emergency tariffs imposed by ​President Donald Trump that were ⁠struck down by the Supreme Court.

CBP ​said in a Court of International Trade ​filing declaring ‌that it could not comply with ⁠a judge's order to begin processing refunds ⁠that there were about ​20.1 million entries under the International Emergency Economic Powers ‌Act tariffs that were unliquidated, or ‌not finalized, ⁠as of ‌March 4.
