Mexican economy grows 0.8% in July from June

Sept 24 (Reuters) - Mexico's economy picked up in July, expanding by 0.8% from the prior month, official data showed on Thursday.
That was faster than a Reuters poll forecast for 0.2% growth.
The national statistics agency (INEGI) also revised economic activity in June to flat, after preliminary data showed a contraction.
The month-on-month growth in July was mainly driven by a 1.2% increase in the tertiary sector, which includes transport and wholesale trade. The secondary sector, which includes construction and manufacturing, grew 0.5%.
On an annual basis, the economy expanded 3.4% in July, beating a Reuters poll forecast for 2.5% growth.
