Japan's economy expands annualised 1.1% in April-June

TOKYO, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Japan's economy expanded an annualised 1.1% in the April-June quarter, government data showed on Monday, compared with a median market forecast for a 2.0% increase.
The rise in gross domestic product (GDP) translated into a quarterly increase of 0.3%, compared with a median estimate of a 0.5% increase.
