JPMorgan appoints Mark O'Donovan as head of human resources, memo says

Sept 29 (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase has appointed Mark O'Donovan as its head of human resources, effective January next year, succeeding Robin Leopold, CEO Jamie Dimon said in a memo seen by Reuters on Tuesday.
Here are some details:
• Leopold, who plans to retire in the first quarter of next year, has led human resources since 2018 and spent more than 16 years at JPMorgan, Dimon said.
• Dimon credited Leopold with helping the bank navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical changes and the rapid adoption of AI.
• O'Donovan, currently CEO of international consumer banking, will join the bank's operating committee and relocate from London to New York.
• O'Donovan, who spent 30 years at JPMorgan, has previously served as chief financial officer of the Commercial & Investment Bank, CEO of Chase Home Lending and Chase Auto.
• Daniel Llano Manibardo, currently head of international consumer banking for Germany, will succeed O'Donovan as CEO of international consumer banking and report to Troy Rohrbaugh.
