German inflation confirmed at 2.4% y/y in June

BERLIN, ‌July ​10 (Reuters) - ​German inflation ‌eased to 2.4% ⁠in ‌June, the federal ‌statistics office said ​on Friday, ⁠confirming preliminary data.

Inflation, ​or the gain in consumer ​prices ‌harmonised to compare ⁠with other ⁠European Union countries, ​had stood at 2.7% ‌year-on-year in May.
