GM's second-quarter US auto sales fall 4%

July ‌1 (Reuters) - ​General ​Motors on ‌Wednesday reported a ⁠4.2% ‌drop in U.S. ‌auto sales during the ​second quarter, ⁠as inflationary pressures ​kept some new vehicle buyers ​at ‌bay.

The automaker notched ⁠quarterly sales of ⁠714,896 units compared ​with 746,588 units a year ‌earlier.
