French inflation rises 2.0% in June

July ‌10 (Reuters) - ​Consumer ​prices in France ‌rose 2.0% year-on-year in ⁠June on ‌an EU-harmonised basis, ‌statistics office INSEE said ​on Friday, confirming a ⁠preliminary reading published ​earlier this month.

The harmonised inflation rate ​in the ‌bloc's second-biggest economy — ⁠adjusted for comparison with ⁠other euro zone countries — ​slowed in June, compared with the ‌May reading of 2.8%.
