Euro zone consumer confidence rises to -17.7 in June

June 22 (Reuters) - Euro zone consumer confidence rose by 1.3 points in June from the May number, figures released on Monday showed.
The European Commission said a flash estimate showed euro zone consumer morale increased to -17.7 this month from -19.0 in May.
Economists polled by Reuters had expected a rise to -17.5.
In the European Union as a whole, consumer sentiment rose by 1.2 points to -17.0.
