Canada's Ivey PMI falls to three-month low in June

TORONTO, July 7 (Reuters) - Canadian economic activity expanded at a slower pace in June as measures of employment and prices fell, Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data showed on Tuesday.
The seasonally adjusted index declined to 56.2 from 58.2 in May, marking its lowest level since March.
• The Ivey PMI measures the month to month variation in economic activity as indicated by a panel of purchasing managers from across Canada. A reading above 50 indicates an increase in activity.
• The gauge of employment dipped to an adjusted 53.6 from 54.3 in May.
• The adjusted prices index was at 73.7, down from 78.0.
• The unadjusted PMI edged lower to 59.7 from 61.3 in May.
