Canada's Ivey PMI falls to three-month low in June

TORONTO, July ​7 (Reuters) - ​Canadian economic activity expanded at a ‌slower pace in June as ⁠measures of employment and prices ‌fell, Ivey Purchasing Managers ‌Index (PMI) data showed on Tuesday.

The seasonally adjusted index declined to ​56.2 from 58.2 in May, marking its lowest ⁠level since March.

• The Ivey PMI measures ​the month to month variation in economic activity ​as indicated by ‌a panel of purchasing managers from across Canada. ⁠A reading above 50 indicates an increase in activity.

• ⁠The gauge of employment dipped to ​an adjusted 53.6 from 54.3 in May.

• The adjusted prices index ‌was at 73.7, down from 78.0.

• The unadjusted ‌PMI edged lower to ⁠59.7 from ‌61.3 in ​May.
