Tesla raises prices on two Cybertruck trims

Aug 25 (Reuters) - ‌Tesla on ​Tuesday ​raised prices for two variants of its Cybertruck pickup ‌trucks by $5,000 in the United ⁠States.

The Cybertruck, touted by CEO Elon Musk ‌as a futuristic ‌rival to pickup trucks from legacy automakers such as Ford, has ​struggled to sustain interest since its 2023 launch. The vehicle ⁠has also faced multiple recalls and quality-control issues, ​while Tesla has repeatedly revised prices.

The electric-vehicle maker increased the ​price of the dual-motor ‌Cybertruck to $74,990 from $69,990, while the all-wheel-drive version now ⁠costs $84,990, up from $79,990, according to its website.

The company introduced a cheaper dual-motor ⁠variant at $59,990 in February, though Musk said ​the promotional price would last just 10 days.

Tesla also raised the price of the ‌top-end Cyberbeast by $15,000 to $114,990 in August 2025, before reversing ‌the increase the following ⁠February.
