Analyst, Harry C. Curtis, said, "Weekly Lodging Review. Our new Weekly Lodging Review delivers timely analysis of weekly lodging statistics. We have kept text to a minimum and rely on exhibits to convey trends in the data. We welcome your thoughts on this developing series. US RevPAR increased 6.5% year over year on a clean calendar comp. Year to date, US RevPAR is up 8.1%, and Upper Upscale RevPAR has increased 6.7%. These trends are in line with our outlook for ~6.5% RevPAR growth across our coverage universe."
Stocks of note include: Host Hotels (NYSE: HST), Marriott (NYSE: MAR), Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE: WYN), Starwood (NYSE: HOT), Choice (NYSE: CHH), Hyatt (NYSE: H), and Gaylord (NYSE: GET)
