FireEye, Inc. (Nasdaq: FEYE), Workday, Inc. (NYSE: WDAY), and Splunk, Inc. (NYSE: SPLK) led tech stocks slower on Thursday, as the rout in high growth areas continued ahead of Fridays important jobs number.

MKM Partners Twitter (TWTR) Survey Shows Encouraging Results; Buy Ahead of Q1 Results
April 2, 2014 8:33 AM EDTMKM Partners analyst Rob Sanderson reiterated a Buy rating and $72 price target on Twitter, Inc. (NYSE: TWTR) Wednesday saying their proprietary survey offers encouraging view on user engagement, growth, ads. He also notes TWTR has been a controversial stock. "TWTR is the fastest growing large-cap in the Internet sector and carries the highest valuation," he said. "User growth slowed meaningfully to 30% in Q4, a cause of concern. Investor sentiment remains highly negative and 42mn shares are short, which is about half the float and over 5-days to cover."
