As most investors know, Microsoft is a sloth-y, dividend-paying stock which no one really expects to go anywhere. Well, that somewhere is today with Steve Ballmer announcing plans to step down within 12 months. The move follows an organizational restructuring last July that saw plenty of management changes and a new focus for the company.
Unfortunately, Microsoft stock has been largely nonreactive to the news. Shares popped a little in July, but fell back to the low $30s this month.... More
