Lennar Corp. (LEN) Tops Q2 Views as Sales Rise 53%; Fundamentals Remain Strong

Lennar Corp. (NYSE: LEN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.61, including a partial reversal of the state deferred tax asset valuation allowance of $0.18, versus analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came rose 53% to $1.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.33 billion.

New home deliveries, excluding unconsolidated entities, increased to 4,449 homes in the second quarter of 2013 from 3,192 homes in the second quarter of 2012. There was an increase in home deliveries in all of the Company's Homebuilding segments and Homebuilding Other.
