Progenics (PGNX), Salix (SLXP) Surge on FDA AdCom Review for RELISTOR
June 11, 2013 11:23 AM EDTShares of Progenics Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: PGNX) are surging 26% mid-day after the company and partner Salix Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. (NASDAQ: SLXP) announced that the FDA is seeking input from an Advisory Committee on Salix's Supplemental New Drug Application (sNDA) for RELISTOR® (methylnaltrexone bromide) Subcutaneous Injection, for opioid-induced constipation, or OIC, in patients with chronic pain.
