AIG (AIG) Capital Return Hopes Dim as ILFC Deal Hits Snag
May 31, 2013 3:28 PM EDTThis morning it was learned that AIG's (NYSE: AIG) plan to sell an 80% stake in ILFC could be in jeopardy. According to filings, the buyer, unnamed consortium of Chinese investors, missed the deadline to post the initial cash deposit. AIG now has the option to cancel the deal, but this seems unlikely since buyers appear to be few and far between.... More
