Arbutus Announces Intent to Repurchase Up to US$230 Million of its Common Shares Through Modified “Dutch Auction” Tender Offer
August 21, 2026 7:30 AM EDTWARMINSTER, Pa., Aug. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Arbutus Biopharma Corporation (Nasdaq: ABUS) (Arbutus or the Company), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on infectious disease, today announced plans to commence a modified Dutch Auction tender offer (the Offer) to repurchase up to US$230 million of its common shares at a purchase price of not less than US$5.00 per share and not more than US$5.75 per share, in cash, less any applicable withholding taxes and without interest.
