(NYSE: GNW) today announced that Tom McInerney, President & Chief Executive Officer, will be taking a temporary leave of absence from his role to focus on his health. The Board of Directors has named Jerome Upton, currently Genworths Chief Financial Officer, as Interim President & Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
