(Reuters) -Micron Technology forecast fourth-quarter revenue above Wall Street estimates on Wednesday on robust demand for its high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips used in artificial intelligence data centers.

The memory chip maker reported a nearly 50% jump in third-quarter sales of its HBM chips from the previous three months, and said it will continue to invest in the chips.

Micron set to beat Q3 estimates on strong DRAM, HBM momentum

Micron Technology Inc. is set to report fiscal Q3 2025 earnings on June 25, with analysts broadly expecting results to exceed guidance due to robust DRAM pricing and early AI-related demand.

Citi Research forecasts Q3 revenue at $9 billion, a 12% quarter-over-quarter increase, exceeding the $8.80 billion consensus. Citis EPS estimate is $1.48 versus the $1.39 consensus.

For Q4, Citi sees revenue rising to $10 billion (+11% QoQ) and EPS of $1.81, both ahead of the $9.84 billion and $1.78 consensus.
