Old Dominion Freight Line Provides Update for Second Quarter 2025
June 4, 2025 7:30 AM UTCTHOMASVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. (Nasdaq: ODFL) today reported certain less-than-truckload (LTL) operating metrics for May 2025. Revenue per day decreased 5.8% as compared to May 2024 due to an 8.4% decrease in LTL tons per day that was partially offset by an increase in LTL revenue per hundredweight. The decrease in LTL tons per day was attributable to a 6.8% decrease in LTL shipments per day and a 1.9% decrease in LTL weight per shipment.
