(Popular or the Corporation) (NASDAQ: BPOP) announced today that Ignacio Alvarez will retire effective June 30, 2025 after serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since 2017. He will be succeeded by Javier D. Ferrer, currently President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
