US elections 2024: Where the things stand? Goldman Sachs weighs in
March 28, 2024 4:00 PM EDTIn a note to clients this week, analysts at Goldman Sachs examined where things currently stand in light of this year's US elections.
The firm noted that currently, President Biden trails former President Trump by around 2pp in national polling and around 3pp in the swing states likely to provide the winning electoral vote.
"Prediction markets show roughly even odds of a Democratic or Republican win," said the investment bank.
