(Paratek) (Nasdaq: PRTK), a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapies for life-threatening diseases and other public health threats, today acknowledged receipt of a letter from NexPoint Asset Management, L.P., together with its affiliates (collectively, "NexPoint").
Paratek appreciates receiving constructive feedback from its stockholders and as such, has actively engaged with NexPoint over the past several months. However, Parateks board of directors respectfully disagrees with NexPoints characterizations contained in its letter.
