October 21, 2022 6:54 AM EDTBTIG analyst Thomas Catherwood reiterated a Buy rating and $26.00 price target on Veris Residential (NYSE: VRE) following the $16/Share offer from Kushner Cos. The analyst said the offer could bring out other buyers.
The analyst commented, "In a 10/20/22 letter to Veris Residential's Board of Directors, Kushner Companies (Private) stated that it owns 4.5M shares of common stock and had recently proposed a joint-venture arrangement to take over management of Veris' assets.
