The 30-year Fixed-Rate Mortgage Increased by a Quarter of a Percent this Week
September 22, 2022 10:00 AM EDTMCLEAN, Va., Sept. 22, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Freddie Mac (OTCQB: FMCC) today released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey® (PMMS®), showing that the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) averaged 6.29 percent.
The housing market continues to face headwinds as mortgage rates increase again this week, following the 10-year Treasury yields jump to its highest level since 2011, said Sam Khater, Freddie Macs Chief Economist.... More
