May 10, 2022 6:07 AM EDTBitcoin (BTC) price is attempting to stage a rebound this morning after plunging below the $30,000 mark on Monday, hitting an intraday low of 12%.
Not long afterward, the worlds largest cryptocurrency recovered to now trade at around $31,500 at 6:00 AM EST.
Yesterday marks the first time Bitcoin has traded below $30,000 since July 2021 when it was priced as low as $29,839. The latest drop comes amid a broader selloff in crypto and stock markets.
