Commerce Bancshares, Inc. Reports First Quarter Earnings Per Share of $.97
April 19, 2022 6:00 AM EDTKANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Commerce Bancshares, Inc. announced earnings of $.97 per share for the three months ended March 31, 2022, compared to $1.06 per share in the same quarter last year and $.94 per share in the fourth quarter of 2021. Net income for the first quarter of 2022 amounted to $118.2 million, compared to $131.0 million in the first quarter of 2021 and $114.9 million in the prior quarter.
