Wells Fargo (WFC) Tops Q1 EPS by 8c
April 14, 2022 6:48 AM EDTWells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.88, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.80. Revenue for the quarter came in at $17.59 billion versus the consensus estimate of $17.8 billion.
Chief Executive Officer Charlie Scharf commented, Our results in the first quarter reflected the continued economic recovery and the progress weve made on our strategic priorities. We had broad-based loan growth, growing both consumer and commercial loans from the fourth quarter.
