FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Geron Corporation (Nasdaq: GERN), a late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company developing a first-in-class telomerase inhibitor, imetelstat, to treat hematologic malignancies, today reported business updates, upcoming milestones and financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2021. The Company ended 2021 with $212.7 million in cash and marketable securities, which the Company believes is sufficient to fund current operations through the end of the first quarter of 2023.
