Lakeland Financial Reports Record Annual Performance
January 25, 2022 8:00 AM ESTWARSAW, Ind., Jan. 25, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lakeland Financial Corporation (Nasdaq Global Select/LKFN), parent company of Lake City Bank, today reported record full year net income of $95.7 million, which represents an increase of $11.4 million, or 13.5%, compared with net income of $84.3 million for 2020. Diluted earnings per share of $3.74 was also a record for 2021, which increased 13.3% compared to $3.30 for 2020. Net income for 2021 benefited from growth in net interest income and lower provision expense as compared to 2020, offset by an increase in noninterest expense.
