Back to Business: John Deere (DE) Workers End Strike, BofA Expects Conservative Guidance
November 18, 2021 10:39 AM ESTJohn Deere (NYSE: DE) stock is up about 2.5% today after over 10,000 of its workers decided to return to work after agreeing a new landmark deal with the companys management.
Workers were on a strike for over a month after the first and second offers were overwhelmingly rejected. This approach has paid benefits as the new agreement includes 10% wage rise this year and 20% over their contract life. Deere previously offered 5% raises to some workers and 6% to others.
