XL Fleet (XL) Misses Q2 Revenues, EPS
August 12, 2021 4:19 PM EDTXL Fleet (NYSE: XL) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.08), $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $4.4 million.
We believe market interest in commercial fleet electrification solutions remains strong, however, supply chain issues and wide scale shortages of key materials, especially microchips, continue to impact the global automotive industry, significantly interrupting the ability of fleet customers to secure new vehicles on which our electrified drive systems are installed, said Dimitri Kazarinoff, Chief Executive Officer of XL Fleet.
