The Shyft Group (SHYF) Tops Q1 EPS by 3c, Revenues Beat; Offers FY21 EPS/Revenues Guidance
May 6, 2021 7:32 AM UTCThe Shyft Group (NASDAQ: SHYF) reported Q1 EPS of $0.36, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $197.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $192.66 million.
For the first quarter of 2021 compared to the first quarter of 2020:
Sales of $197.9 million, an increase of $21.0 million, or 11.8%, from $176.9 million. Income from continuing operations of $11.5 million, or $0.32 per share, compared to $11.7 million, or $0.33 per share. Prior year results include a $2.6 million, or $0.08 per share, income tax gain.
