OptiNose (OPTN) Tops Q1 EPS by 4c, Revenues Beat
May 5, 2021 7:14 AM EDTOptiNose (NASDAQ: OPTN) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.49), $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.53). Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.96 million versus the consensus estimate of $11.1 million.
XHANCE net revenues increased 55% in the first quarter of 2021 compared to first quarter 2020, stated CEO Peter Miller. We believe this is strong growth, particularly in the context of the continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the number of patients visiting physician offices and pandemic-related restrictions that continue to limit in-person detailing of physician offices by our territory managers.
