Chubb Reports First Quarter Per Share Net Income and Core Operating Income of $5.07 and $2.52, Respectively, Including Net Catastrophe Losses Per Share of $1.26 Versus $0.44 Prior Year; Consolidated N
April 27, 2021 4:11 PM EDTZURICH, April 27, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Chubb Limited (NYSE: CB) today reported net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 of $2.30 billion, or $5.07 per share, compared with $252 million, or $0.55 per share, for the same quarter last year. Core operating income was $1.14 billion, or $2.52 per share, compared with $1.22 billion, or $2.68 per share, for the same quarter last year. Book and tangible book value per share decreased 0.4% and 0.6%, respectively, from December 31, 2020 and now stand at $131.37 and $87.16, respectively.
