Alliance Resource Partners, L.P.: Reports Quarterly Financial and Operating Results; Declares Quarterly Cash Distribution of $0.10 Per Unit; Adds New Coal Royalties Segment; and Increases Guidance
April 26, 2021 7:00 AM EDTTULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. (NASDAQ: ARLP) today reported financial and operating performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 (the "2021 Quarter"). Net income for the 2021 Quarter increased $169.5 million to $24.7 million, or $0.19 per basic and diluted limited partner unit, compared to a net loss of $144.8 million, or $(1.14) per basic and diluted limited partner unit, for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 (the "2020 Quarter"). Excluding the impact of $157.0 million of non-cash charges in the 2020 Quarter, Adjusted net income for the 2021 Quarter increased 102.5% to $24.7 million compared to $12.2 million for the 2020 Quarter.
