February 3, 2021 7:34 AM ESTMadison Square Garden Sports Corp. (NYSE: MSGS) reported Q2 EPS of ($1.68), $0.15 worse than the analyst estimate of ($1.53). Revenue for the quarter came in at $28.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $27.1 million.
Summary of Reported Results from Continuing Operations
Fiscal 2021 second quarter revenues of $28.8 million decreased $264.0 million, or 90%, as compared to the prior year period, primarily driven by the absence of pre/regular season ticket-related revenues and suite license fee revenue as well as a decrease in local media rights fees from MSG Networks, league distribution revenues, and sponsorship and signage revenues.Pre/regular...
