J. M. Smucker (SJM) Tops Q2 EPS by 16c, Revenues Beat; Raises FY21 EPS Guidance
November 24, 2020 7:04 AM ESTJ. M. Smucker (NYSE: SJM) reported Q2 EPS of $2.39, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of $2.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.03 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.01 billion.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Net sales increased $76.2 million, or 4 percent, primarily reflecting growth in the Company's U.S. Retail Consumer Foods and U.S. Retail Coffee segments, partially offset by a decline in its Away From Home business.Net income per diluted share was $2.02.
