Corning Reports Third-Quarter 2020 Results
October 27, 2020 7:15 AM EDTCORNING, NY, Oct. 27, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Corning Incorporated (NYSE: GLW) today announced strong financial results for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2020.
GAAP and core sales were $3.0 billion. Core sales increased 16% sequentially, led by Environmental Technologies and Specialty Materials, which had sequential growth of 68% and 37%, respectively.Core sales grew 1% year over year, led by Specialty Materials and Display Technologies, which had year-over-year growth of 23% and 4%, respectively.
