Commerce Bancshares (CBSH) Tops Q3 EPS by 41c
October 20, 2020 6:03 AM EDTCommerce Bancshares (NASDAQ: CBSH) reported Q3 EPS of $1.11, $0.41 better than the analyst estimate of $0.70.
In announcing these results, John Kemper, Chief Executive Officer, said, We are pleased to report a healthy rebound in earnings this quarter. Net income grew significantly compared to the second quarter, driven by low provision expense and by increases in net interest income, fee income, and investment securities gains.
