Second Quarter 2020 Results Reported by Amphenol Corporation
July 22, 2020 8:00 AM EDTWALLINGFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Amphenol Corporation (NYSE: APH) reported today GAAP diluted Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the second quarter 2020 of $0.85 compared to $0.93 for the comparable 2019 period. GAAP diluted EPS for the second quarter 2020 included an excess tax benefit of $12 million ($0.04 per share) related to stock options exercised during the quarter. Second quarter 2019 GAAP diluted EPS included an excess tax benefit of $13 million ($0.04 per share) related to stock options exercised during the quarter, partially offset by acquisition-related costs of $9 million ($0.03 per share).
