Nucor Reports Results for First Quarter of 2020 and Provides Update on COVID-19 Impacts
April 28, 2020 8:00 AM EDTCHARLOTTE, N.C., April 28, 2020 /PRNewswire/ --Â Nucor Corporation (NYSE: NUE) today announced consolidated net earnings of $20.3 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2020. Included in the first quarter of 2020 results are losses on assets of $287.8 million, or $0.92 per diluted share, related to our equity method investment located in Italy, Duferdofin Nucor S.r.l. ("Duferdofin Nucor"), as discussed further below.
