Abbott Reports First-Quarter 2020 Results
April 16, 2020 7:30 AM EDTABBOTT PARK, Ill., April 16, 2020 /PRNewswire/ --Â Abbott (NYSE: ABT) today announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020.
First-quarter worldwide sales of $7.7 billion increased 2.5 percent on a reported basis and 4.3 percent on an organic* basis. Reported diluted EPS from continuing operations under GAAP was $0.30 and adjusted diluted EPS from continuing operations, which excludes specified items, was $0.65 in the first quarter.
