Athersys Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Stock
April 15, 2020 9:33 PM EDTCLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Athersys, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATHX) (Athersys) today announced the pricing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of its common stock, par value $0.001 per share (Common Stock), at a price to the public of $2.25 per share, for a total of 22,250,000 shares. Gross proceeds to Athersys from the offering are expected to be approximately $50.1 million, before deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses.
