Ingevity authorizes $500 million in share repurchases

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ingevity Corporation (NYSE: NGVT) today announced that its board of directors has approved an authorization for the repurchase of up to $500 million of Ingevitys outstanding common stock. In addition, the company stated that it intends to purchase up to $250 million in shares over the next 12 to 18 months. The companys 2017 and 2018 stock repurchase plans have been rescinded in favor of this new authorization.
