FOURTH QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS:
Reported diluted EPS $1.47, +9%. Adjusted diluted EPS $1.66, +8%, excluding special gains and charges and discrete tax items. Excluding the estimated impact of a European Healthcare product recall, adjusted diluted earnings per share would have been +10% to $1.69. Reported sales +2%. Acquisition adjusted fixed currency sales +1% as growth in the Industrial, Institutional and Other segments was partially offset by a 3% decline in Energy.
